Biggest heel turn in a show/movie?

Really? I figured out the plot twist as soon as I read the first spoiler-free review. I didn't even bother watching the movie, it was so predictable
I went in knowing zero about it me an wife saw it as the movie we wanted was sold out . Both of us were wide eyed - when watched agsin we felt a little dumb nit seeing it obvious. I guess we just werent looking for it

The twist in Unbreakable was much better, IMHO.

I guess these are more “it was me all along” rather than turns, but idc

When that fucking devious succubus murdered Jack by forcing him to freeze in the river instead of scootching over so he could climb onto the board with her and then revealing that she secretly had that blue diamond the whole time but she rather let her family live in poverty than cash that gimmick in and gain some riches!

It's been 84 years... of pure evil!!

Gul Dukat in Deep Space Nine

Went from mid-card heel for 3 seasons like the Rock in the Nation, slowly did a face turn season 4 and 5 where he played a The Rock takes over style Antihero with catchphrases.

Then season 5 End into Season 6 he full on embraced the Heel by joining the corporation like Rock siding with Vince to beat Austin...

Season 6 he holds the belt awhile, But ultimately drops it at WrestleMania....and on top of that, they kill his daughter and he is captured. Its actually one of 2 times I shed a tear in the DS9 series.

He is back to sporadic appearances but in the season 6 Finale into season 7, goes full Evil, and i mean Full Evil.
His one saving grace during Full Evil mode is disintegrating Kai Wynn in the series finale, because fuck that bitch.

On that note, Damar in DS9 made the most unexpected Face turn in the final Season. He was such a lackey for the entire show until Season 7 and you just HATED him for shooting Dukat's daughter because it gave us the most emotional moments in Trek History and then somehow season 7 they made a believable face turn for him

This scene between Damar and Kira was absolutely brilliant. So much said with so few words.

Whether Daniel LaRusso ruined Terry Silver's life is a major debate in the Cobra Kai fandom, with arguments suggesting Daniel's persistent opposition, refusal to forgive, and creation of rivalry pushed the already unstable Silver further into villainy, while others argue Silver's inherent psychopathy and manipulative nature meant he would always seek to destroy Daniel, with Daniel's actions simply a catalyst for Silver's self-destruction. Silver’s life unravels after his schemes against Daniel are exposed in Karate Kid Part III, leading to his defeat, and again in Cobra Kai, culminating in his arrest, with many attributing his downfall to his own choices and Daniel's consistent resistance.

  • Unrelenting Opposition: Daniel's distrust and consistent fight against Silver's Cobra Kai forced Silver to escalate his tactics, making him feel he had to win at any cost, as seen in The Karate Kid Part III.
  • Refusal to Forgive: Some fans believe if Daniel had shown more empathy or accepted Silver's (possibly disingenuous) apologies, Silver might have felt less isolated and angry.
  • Catalyst for Downfall: Daniel's actions exposed Silver's cheating and ultimately led to his downfall in Cobra Kai, ruining his plans to expand Cobra Kai.
