Biggest heel turn in a show/movie?

I think Jamie was mostly true to his nature. He did alot of bad shit but tried to do good things and in the end a slave to his desire for Cersei and he could never be rid of it. I dont think he really "turned" on anyone, other than his cousin who was chained up with him, but that was to get back to Cersei anyway.

I mean, he literally tried to kill a child in episode 1 so people would not find out he was fucking his sister..........

If the story is well written, then it doesnt matter, it's perfectly fine to watch again. This movie just doesnt hold up in a logical sense, and its merely ok. But it has entertaining "Scenes" esp anything w Postwaithe and Benicio in it
He'll flip ya still gets a laugh out of me. The intro through the end of the line up was awesome.

Word. So how could a man like this turn heel? He's always been that way. He always was gonna go back to her, regardless of the side quests. He was a better person the longer he stayed away from her, but he didnt really change. He would have killed kids again if they stood in the way of him and his sister.

Yeah Jamie was GoTs Vic Mackey...do something horrible early, make people forget, remind them you're still scum..

Littlefingers betrayal of Ned in S1 was a good heel turn for the non book folks, even in the book you knew he was a slimy weasel but didn't think.he was that "bad" in the GoT scale of shity humans. Sansa and Cat Stark were worse before he pulled that knife on Ned.

He stangled his cousin to death to get free of confinement, and way later at the siege of Riverrun he told Edmure he would catapult his infant child over the walls of the castle, if he didnt talk them into surrendering.

He did go to Winterfell to fight against the armies of the dead, and, around the right people away from Cersei he could be a valiant knight...

But once all that was over, he went back to what he'd always been.

He didnt even turn on anyone, he just left, and went back to her, which he'd been doin the whole show.

I don’t remember the name of the movie, but James Woods played a gangster Maximilian. He turned heel against his childhood friends

Not disagreeing at all, he was doing a lot of good between all that teasing a redemption arc, in addition to what you stated he also:

Saved BFT
Helped Tyrion escape after the trial by combat
Reconciled with his daughter after trying to rescue her in that shitty Dorne story arc

Then like Vic, he served himself in the end.

It's all semantics, I guess...of course many people were really upset that he went back to her in the end.

The books were setting up so that he was going to fulfill a prophecy by strangling Cersei to death in the end.

But D&D just kind of forgot about the foreshadowing.

This is a great one

24 season 1. Nina. She got jack to cheat on his wife, ended up killing his wife, "betrayed" her country. What a great villian

I'm pretty sure every person on that show turned heel at some point 😂 great end to season 1.

Speaking of plot twists:

Tyler Durden?

Was an asshole sure, but was trying to help the Narrator, then went full terrorist.
6th sense. Imo the king of the twist ending. I didnt see it coming as I wasnt looking for it . Watching again knowing - it was easy to spot. An Im.not even Shslamayn fan aside from This and unbreakable.

Really? I figured out the plot twist as soon as I read the first spoiler-free review. I didn't even bother watching the movie, it was so predictable.
