Bigger fall from grace: Barao Or Woodley?

Woodly.

Atleast Barao can say he lost to pro fighters.

But then again Woodley must be banking close to a million+ with both fights.

Is it worth it though?

I'll have to say Woodley had a bigger fall, for a few reasons.. he was being talked about as the GOAT WW, above GSP or rivalling GSP. I never had that opinion, but many many many did, not only on sherdog forums but also other fighters and commentators and media members. No one ever had Barao as GOAT, because he still had not fought lots of top guys, the only top wins he had was Faber and possibly Pickett, but the other guys he beat are not the best imo.. Jorgensen was a tough guy but still not the best imo

Next thing is that Woodley got beat twice by a youtube kid, even though he has been training boxing, he still has not been training long at all, not in boxing standards or any combat sport standards

Last thing is I don't think the embarrassments are over for Woodley, he is so stubborn, beyond stubborn, he will say he is improving and still young enough etc, I know how he is.. he is deluded. I won't be surprised to see him take more fights next year.
He'll be in more fights next year. He was scheduled for boxing fights. He needs to go all in on boxing and really improve his game. He needs to be sparring high level boxers, I don't see him sparring any high level boxers at all to the lead up to this fights. He's just been doing pad work. Also Din Thomas might be good for mma, but he's not good for boxing. He needs an actual boxing team that trains/corners high level boxers. There was zero improvement from the first Jake Paul fight and the second fight.

BIG part of the question. woodley made money on his way down. That's about the most he can say

Woodley got knocked the fuck out by some dude from YouTube.

Is there even a comparison?

I never liked Woodley, and was a huge Barao fan during his come up. So I go with Barao. Dude looked like he was measuring up to be a top 5 GOAT like Aldo. Last I seen of him, he was taking a fight in a random regional promotion in NJ or somewhere.

After researching, looks like that fight fell though and he’s fighting in Eagle FC in January. Which is basically a C-league promotion as well.

Barao hasn't had a cameo as Loser (actual role name!) putting his dick into a raccoon cage.

Barao fell off from GOAT candidate to has-been in a terrible way. USADA appeared, he got derailed, and ultimately kept going when his mind wasn't in it and accumulated a bunch of losses. Nothing we haven't seen before with others like BJ Penn or Chuck Lidell. However, there was no media circus around the whole affair, which makes it less notable.

Nothing will ever ever top Woodley's disgrace, there's no comparison.

Paul is the new face plant walk off ko goat. Plat nation is out, Paul nation is in.

person right above your post thinks so

Add Cody, Hendricks and make a poll. Each of them has a strong case for the biggest fall.

I really think a poll would help, There has really been no clear front runner so far lol.

Didn't Hendricks get KO'd by a former gay pornstar in BKFC?

Lmao yes he did and honestly if there were ever 2 fighters in the history of fighters I've disliked it'd be tyron woodley and johnny hendricks.

Barao for sure! does anyone know why he started losing after T.J. fight?

Definitely Tyron. No one even knows who barao is anymore.
