Big Rig - Hendricks ...tittle run 2021

My friend goes cat fishin’ with Him and was told that Johnny is making a comeback.

thinking of Getting a new coach and making a 2021 run in the UFC.
He figures with the current state of the ufc and div ... 3 wins in a row and he will have Usman “served up on a platter”.
He's sadly delusional, and clearly probably needs the money. Here he is, watching his kids play soccer (about a year or so ago) :
In amazing shape. That Hendricks diet plan and steely resolve to eat 3 plates of food every meal.

Cool Story Bro!!!
A) Hendricks is 37 and well past his prime
B) Hendricks can't make weight at 170 anymore and had trouble making weight at 185 before he got released.
C) Hendricks UFC record after USADA testing began in the UFC (October 2015) was 1 - 5. Losses to Thompson, Gastelum, Magny, Boetsch and Costa (all 5 were one-sided losses of which 3 were TKOs) with a single decision win over a past his prime Lombard. USADA testing remains in place at this time...so opportunities for a PED boost are reduced if he were so inclined...
D) I conclude that the chances of Big Rigg making any noteworthy comeback in MMA are 0.00%. He had a nice run for a few years, won a belt, lost a belt without a successful title defense and then fell apart...

Post USADA Hendricks is not even top 10.

Wasn't he knocked out by a pornstar in bareknuckle?

He probably needs money. His house was actually just seized by the bank earlier this year

aha!!! That makes sense.
He screwed up his UFC career with his terrible weight management, and then got cut and then did 1 fight at BKFC, got KO'd in 1st round by Dakota someone and that was the end of that, and so now unfortunately he probably couldn't keep u payments on his huge house. Well I wish him the best but he just is not going to have any chance of getting back in the UFC and he should KNOW that. UFC are currently clearing out ageing expensive fighters, they have had zero gate revenue for most of 2020 and Hendricks has zero chance there.
Wrestling coaching won't pay very well at all I'd imagine.

He seems separated from reality.

Hendricks should probably check out competitive eating competitions like the Coney Island Hot Dog Competition on July 4th to try and win a check and maybe gain a hot dog corporate sponsorship. Probably a better fit for his "Fat Bastard" lifestyle at this point in his life...

This is from 2 weeks ago. He looks 50 years old. He finished some sort of thirdy party intro course to police officer.

Feel sorry for him. Most of these later in life teachers/police officers do it because it's a stable job that has low number of applicants

It looks like the website to his gym isn't active anymore either...

Yeah his gym closed a few years ago. That's when he became a wrestling coach at some local private school. Now he's trying to be a cop

Unfortunately that's the problem with alot of athletes, they struggle post athletic career to find a stable job
