Dodgy eyesight starting to play a factor IMHO but he wasnt saved by the bell, Heath had the chance to follow up but Nog was able to hang on.

I think the very first signs maybe when Barnett caught him in the first fight but Sylvia was clearly landing much more easily then Mir the first time Nog couldnt see the same simple combo coming again and again.

Well he was the first guy to beat Igor in god knows how long and would have been a strong contender for the #1 HW in the world? the division wasnt very organised but rankings wise that was just about as good a win as you could get in 2001.

Seems a bit strange you get prissy about me listning Coleman as a good win but not Cormier beating Monson in 2010? still I'm sure if I'd listed Fedor beating him a year latter you'd have had a problem with it.

The reality is you have no fucking credibility on this subject, the same trollish UFC brand fanboyism repeated thousands of times.

Again really if you wanted to call that fight essentially a draw I wouldnt have a problem with it but Ricco was the one who made it a non fight.

The hypocrisy is though its the UFC brand fans who obcess over the match, so desperate for it to be an example of the UFC divisions superiority. The reverse simple isnt true though, Nog winning very rarely comes up as an arguement for Pride's division being superior.

I think this tells you alot about the degree of honesty on the two sides, I mean you've always had the odd person pushing the Pride side talking bullshit but on the UFC side its always been fucking endemic on Sherdog, an endlessly tide of people latching onto any dishonest bullshit that will prop up the hype they've been sold.

Most definately the worst posters on Sherdog, the people who spend years and thousands of posts going after Fedor, Nog, Crocop, etc and for the most part all their doing is recycling the same trollish zingers, they get shot down then next week there posting the same thing again.

Supporting fighters who's careers you enjoy seems pretty healthy to me, obcessing over brand hype for years seems pretty pathetic. I mean people like Final Say who loves Stipe fine by him even if we disagree often but having to constantly proove to yourself that you havent been sold a load of spiel by Dana to empty your bank account? always the same arrogant trollish style as well.
