The best way I can say it is like this: when you are the world's most preeminent superpower, the most important things aren't trannies and the border.

I know, I know, I'm British, you're Canadian, the Muricans will tell us to shut up, after all we don't hail from that preeminent superpower... but the dorks that voted for Trump do, and they're responsible for the current shitshow.

Voting because Trump lied about bringing World Peace is as naive and Disney-fied as you could possibly get. Voting for a right wing government to own trannies is dumb as shit when Britain just shut a lot of that down under a (supposedly) left wing government.

What has voting for Trump actually achieved?

There's no peace in the Middle East, there's no peace in Europe, even fucking Pakistan-India kicked off. They got a risky gambit on the international stage that has thus far failed and looks like failing, and a boisterous loud mouth ignoramus that tried to fight China but shit his pants and backed down.

Border security is pretty damn important, dude. It was the #1 issue in the election. The fact that you would just flippantly put it on par with some fringe issue(that while important, is not on the same level), is all I need to know.

Based on most polls, Trump is at around 50% approval. Pretty impressive for a convicted felon and racist who she’ll bent on destroying the country for his own benefit. Quite a contrast from Biden, who at all wasn’t corrupt, selling out his country and the worst rated president ever.

It's not the most important thing about the United States.

That doesn't make it trivial, but nobody should be voting on a single agenda as 'flippantly' as that.

Trump has weakened the United States on almost all fronts since taking over, most importantly of all the economy. He has done so stupidly and clumsily in a way most people knew wasn't going to work.

Even the handling of the border situation was done in a rush for results and has been a mess.

Even if you think it's been a net win, one or two victories on one or two agendas amid a sea of defeats isn't convincing anyone this guy was a good appointment. These guys voted in a populist buffoon with no actual solutions the first time, they tried to do it again, and when that failed, they fucking doubled down. He's an abysmal leader and a poor character.

Shame on those that voted for him, but there's no need to feel that shame yet. He's got time to make things even worse, which he inevitably will. Stop following charlatans.

Maybe they don't like fascist shit heels destroying social programs while lowering taxes on the ultra wealthy. They don't like having to pay more because of retarded tariffs that are totally because of fentanyl, I mean securing the borders, I mean getting better trade deals, I mean bringing manufacturing back to the US, I mean funding the government in lieu of income tax, no wait I mean trade deals. Those sweet, sweet, entirely nebulous trade deals that nobody can quite explain.

It's a possibility that some people may not agree with him repeatedly threatening the sovereignty of Panama, Greenland, and Canada. They might also have a problem with him allowing Musk to run roughshod on the US government, obtaining countless petabytes of data he has no business having, gutting programs that he had no business gutting, and inexplicably firing thousands of people, whom he had no business firing.

They also don't like shitting all over our closest allies while praising our adversaries. Or the fact that he clearly has no fucking idea what he's doing vis a vis foreign relations (we're backing Russia, no wait I mean Ukraine, no wait we're just going to leave. But we're totally on the side of Israel, actually fuck Israel we're with Hamas on this one, et fucking cetera.)

They don't like being lied to about being the "America First" President, when he sells out the country to big business interests while fucking over the lower and middle class. Some may not care for the fact that Trump isn't just corrupt—but far and away the most corrupt President in history, and very blatantly so.

I think a lot of people probably were expecting him to appoint the most qualified people for the job since his entire campaign talked about DEI this and meritocracy that. And of course instead he decided to appoint the single most retarded and unqualified administration in the history of the country.

And I dare say, most people actually would probably rather not dismantle environmental, financial, and health regulations for the sole purpose of...further enriching the wealthy.

But this is all guesswork. Needless to say, I'm not dumb enough to ever vote for Trump, so I couldn't tell you what goes on in those peoples' heads.

Ironically enough, I think it would have been enough for her to invoke the 25th and oust Biden on the principle of doing what is right for the nation even if it personally hurts. Instead she went with zero platform, extension of Biden, and lying about his competency (or making her look terrible that he was her intellectual equal).
