Love both these dudes, 2 of my favourites, but both need a translator.

People are always joking about Yoel’s English, but I honestly have an easier time understanding him than I do American born Stipe.

Yoel sounds like a drunk while Stipe sounds like a drunk also.

Different cultures hard to judge!

Stipe has a raspiness to his voice, but Yoel said "gay jesus" and has a very thick accent (but is getting better).

Stipe talks like Brad Pitt in Snatch
Yoel talks like cookie monster

Stipe is Ozzy Osbourne level incoherent, it’s insane the guy sounds like he’s gargling cement.

Romero’s English sounded worse than ever during the press conference with Izzy.
Romero’s GOAT translator was M.I.A, the Cuban Drug Dealer looking guy with a pony tail and balding hairline

Stipe's English in fine. He has a speech impediment called Ankyloglossia, also known as tongue-tie.

This is the reason he mumbles.

It's ironic that you have to be a genius to understand every word coming from Stipe.

Yoel sounds like a lot of Cuban-Americans that live in south Florida, idk wtf Stipe is supposed to sound like

Sorry, I meant a condition which causes speech impediment.

Source. I met him at Strong Style gym in Ohio. I suspected he had it as my cousin had the same thing. Certain words he had a tough time pronouncing. It's basically the band of tissue that tethers to the bottom of the tongue's tip to the floor of the mouth. It's too thick and hasn't released properly as a child, which doesn't allow the tongue to stick out as far or operate 100% thus making speech difficult. Surgery can be done to improve or in some cases fix it completely, but most people don't do it or know about it.

That would explain it.
