Movies Better ending killing scene: Sicario vs Unforigiven

I'll make it right now, sorry my friend. I missed it I guess.

Unforgiven and it's not close. The Sicario scene is set up so nicely but it's done poorly.

First, it was dumb to have Benicio make a thing about speaking in English only for them to end up speaking Spanish anyway. Second, it was beyond lame to the point of being confusing for Benicio to tell him to finish his meal only to shoot him a second later. Benicio should've said something different or else he should've actually made him eat his food with the corpses of his family on the floor around him. Not the best writing. Unforgiven, meanwhile, has one of the all-time great monologues preceding that fantastic shootout.

Unforgiven had the best last 20 minutes of any movie i think i have seen. Sicario was good but I just don't t agree with killing kids even if the revenge can be somewhat justified. Jmo

Thanks homie! Check ya PM, i had a good idea about Sixteen Candles vs Can't Hardly Wait
Sixteen Candles in a walk off.

Unforgiven easily, and Sicario is in my top 10.

I agree with all of this.

Sicario was cold AF, way worse than unforgiven since it involved kids getting shot. However, the director didn't execute that scene very well. It could've constructed more tension.

Unforgiven.

“You just killed an unarmed man!”

“He should have armed himself before he decorated his bar with my friend.”

Cold as fuck

"You'd be William Munny, out of Missouri. Killer of women and children!"

"Yeah, I've killed women and children. Killed most anything that walks or crawls at one time or another. And I'm here to kill you, Little Bill. For what you did to Nate".

I think he should've won Best Actor that year, but I can't really beef about Pacino winning. He did win best director and best picture and Hackman took home the gold for best supporting actor. What a fucking movie!
