What say it all

Still have no idea how each of these fights was not finished in the first

Maybe we now see EconoLombard

Lesnar for sure.

That first round was a beatdown.

Kongo wasn't getting beat up until right near the end of the fight.

For Brock, that whole first round was a 10-8 slaughtering

I know it's still fresh and topical, but I choose Magny/Lombard, even considering its natural advantage.

Fedor vs Randleman for me, that slam would have killed a mere mortal.

Lesnar Carwin shoulda been stopped in the first, but of course, since our favourite sport is based out of las vegas, a very loose definition of "intelligently defending yourself" is adopted mid fight and lesnar survives the round.

I guess I go for the submissions after a beatdown vs KO after a beatdown. This is strictly my opinion with no factual reference to back it up, but it seems that as long as a powerful striker can still throw, an opponent dominating is still very susceptible to counter strikes.

I think setting up a submission after being battered is the more difficult of the two, hence "better/ more impressive" to me.

Carwin vs Lesnar. Most people would have been in dreamland. Brock took it and than made Shane say uncle.

Lesnar haters still can't quit crying about that fight. Brock never went limp, kept moving and yes, he was intelligently defending himself. GET OVER IT!!.

I thought Overeem-Browne was finished in the first?

Carwin vs Lesnar for the reason that Carwin was arguably the hardest hitting guy in the whole UFC at that point, put a major whooping on Brock who we all know doesnt like to get hit, for him to come back and win that was amazing

lying in a heap with your hands over your face eating shot after unanswered shot whilst doing nothing to improve your position is not intelligently defending yourself

keep sippin that zuffa koolaid

Not sippin' any Kool-Aid, I was there and saw it in person from 20 rows away. You need to watch it again and not with your head inserted in your rectal cavity as your description of what happened is ridiculously off base. Lesnar covered up for just a few seconds which is no big deal, not reason to have the fight stopped.

So those three plus minutes of Brock running/turtling didn't happen?

Brock never went limp in the overeem fight either. I guess that was a bad stoppage?
