I stand corrected you said Dustin was terrible against Khabib. Either way if neither Dustin nor Dan are that good than how are they among the top handful of guys in the UFC lw division right now.

I'm not saying either is a lock to win the strap but it's safe to say there both better than not that good.

I looked it up, and you're right. It's an interesting stat, but this kind of groundless stat not based on reason or science never holds up forever. 9 times out of 10 it eventually becomes a non-stat.

Yeh man I’m torn. I also hate these stats but it’s weird when it’s consistent.

Personally, I think Dustin is the better fighter. but I also think the ufc would rather have Hooker make a run since Dustin had his shot.

Poirier is coming off a devastating loss and a big surgery while Hooker was active and training with the best in MMA (Izzy and Volk). Dan is hungrier and more motivated to chase gold as Dustin already tasted it.
