Best wins overturned for Marijuana usage?

They overturned Nick's win over Gomi, but I know what happened and I know what I saw. Nick smoking pot had nothing to do with him subbing Gomi and the athletic commission can go fuck themselves.

Gomi shattered Nick's orbital and he not so much as cringed. It's almost as if he didn't feel the pain. You know, something that marijuana is prescribed for is pain.

Without a doubt Diaz Vs. gomi. Gomi was the #1 ranked fighter in the division and I don't think nick was even ranked at the time

Has anyone ever smoked weed, lost and then tested positive? It seems like they always win. Maybe it really is a PED.

Have you ever smoked pot? No amount of pot is going to take away that kind of pain.

Marijuana is not a performance enhancer. If Nick was high when he pulled off a gogo against Gomi, he shouldn't just get a win, he should get a medal.

Tested postive for the party your ass off special: Marijuana, coke, stanozolol, and nandralone, at Strikeforce: Playboy Mansion. And lost.

Yes, but I will overlook it. Obviously there is a point of diminishing returns. Clearly marijuanna is a super drug, but cross contamination with so many other drugs seems to neutralize its fight enhancing properties. Had Mr. smith simply smoked a joint, I predict a flying triangle victory would have been in his highlight reel.

Commission: tells fighter that if he/she takes a substance there will be consequences.

Fighter: takes substance which brings the consequence.

Fans: rabble, rabble, rabble, rabble...

Someone I know smoked weed before a workout for the first time the other day. It's definitely performance enhancing while you are high, no question.

In my opinion, they should only test for it on fight night, and have the threshold high enough where the smoker had to be high that day.

Ignoring decision losses...
Ortega beat Brandao at UFC 195 by triangle choke, Brandao failed post fight for weed.
Northcutt beat Trevino at UFC 192 by TKO, Trevino failed for weed.
Nogueira beat Herman at UFC 153 by armbar, Herman failed for weed.

(I realize it's a joke, I'm bored as hell and have the data available.)

Tell that to a cop when you are high as fuck and get pulled over. Good luck with that.

Wouldn't ever do that, but I don't think what a cop does is relevant. They are paid to enforce the law, not determine whether or not it enhances performance.

I'm saying that you can be charged with Driving While Impaired because marijuana has been proven to :

-Impair hand-eye coordination
-Reduce reaction timing and motor coordination
-Reduce motor coordination and perceptual accuracy
-Impair concentration
-Increase heart rate and fatigue

That's why I do not believe that marijuana is a performance enhancer.

And I do acknowledge that there are athletes who claim smoking pot is beneficial to their workouts.

It will take me a while, but I'll find the reason to ignore these as well.
