Best whey protein brand?

You look at the cholesterol content. Isolate with zero cholesterol is good no matter the brand.

Isopure and Gold Standard types are always solid. If you find Isolate on clearance, buy it. I try to get my servings as close to .50 cents per serving as possible. Getting harder, but still find clearance protein at major stores and Vitamin Shoppe

I could be wrong but whey protein is whey protein especially if they come from the same source...

The only thing that makes them different is advertising and marketing..

I always went for the cheapest

Wow that actually looks nice. I appreciate someone trying to do a full spec protein drink without animal sources. I've seen pea protein and the like but they all seem limited in terms of having all essential AA and also a good blend of the other non essentials
You tried it?
pea protein makes me literally lose strength.

Whey protein, egg white protein, and chicken/turkey meat and some fish. That's the way to go.

ON isolate is good. MyProtein have a good bang for your buck.

Yup
Its like drinking flat lemonade so i quite like it
Bit pricier than normal but i grabbed it for the fact all other stuff was bloating me up
See if u can get a sample pack of it thru the site.
I know when i buy it they throw in a mystery sample and i always get given a small pouch of the cola flavour
I get all my stuff from that place

Nice. I'm the same with whey and I also despise the texture.
I love flat lemonade so I will try some.
Does it mix easy (like in a cup just stirring with a spoon) or do you need to shaker-cup it like most wheys?

Optimum Nutrition Gold standard is the only brand I get because it’s certified and isn’t filled with gazillion unknown ingredients.

I use a shaker, non ball one thou and it mixes ok
Never tried a spoon but tipping it wouldn't be as bad as whey based

Optimum Nutrition !

Since I been lifting I have avoided those whey and all that sports science garbage. My max deadlift is now up to 3,800 Ibs, just been on the good ole fashioned burger and ice cream diet plan.. its greatly improved my lifting numbers, expect my deadlift to be over 4,000 Ibs within the next few weeks too @Sir Galahad

This is what I use. Observe the 90 (percent pure protein) label as opposed to the lower percentages they sell with th exact same label, and cheaper.

Chocolate is amazing. Like chocolate milk.

I have to cosign this, Ive tried many protein powders but this All Max was the best for me, I never got any inflammation or diarrhea like the other brands. I used the Iso natural brand but their flavored ones are good too.

Its a Canadian Brand but I order it on Vitacost or iHerb in California. Most Canadian supplements seem to be better quality than the ones in the USA for some reason.

This was me some 5 years ago, I used to buy SO much protein and if it was on sale I would buy more, I had at any given point somewhere around 25 pounds of protein no exaggeration.

Isopure was expensive, so what happened do you still take whey or you stopped? I stopped because it was giving me flaming shits. But I can take the natural types with no additives like All max isonatural flavorless plain whey but it taste horrible like chalk so I just add it to a smoothie.

I will give it a try, I like that protein fills me up which helps me not over eat or feel hungry. But the gas and bloatedness I can do without. This looks good. I use enzymes and probiotic.

I think you'll like it simply due to the fact everyone I know at the gym I buy it from love it and my friend that owns the gym can't keep it on the self. It's noticeably clean, you'll feel it. You combined it wit gym consistency you'll see it. The cricket protein product below is non whey and I would say is a little more rich/satiating but the Paradigm Protein is stellar stuff.

When you mention "bloatedness I can do without" It reminds me of one time I made a shake with 2 scoops of choc whey, spoon of PB, spoon of plain greek yogurt and milk. Recipe found online and seemed like a great way to get all that protein at once. Blended that all up and chugged it... It was really tasty but mother of god did that make me feel like I was going to blow up from the inside. Gas pains that will stop your strut, farts every 2 mins for the next 5 hours that felt like full lung exhales in size. So yeah, lesson learned that day. ;)

Another company I'd throw out there for certain supplements would be https://prestigelabs.com/ They are at a gold stardard lvl in terms of quality control for every single ingredient that goes into every product. They have videos for all of their products with thorough breakdowns. They are popular with natural body builders and have some things that benefit anyone working out.

Hmm the first one looks interesting

Might just go with cricket protein tho

If I gave you a shake of this without telling you what particular kind of protein shake it was like my best friend did you'd never think it was crickets... They grind em up real good, no bits! lol

I stopped taking whey protein some 2 years ago, I've been doing vegan protein nowadays since I've been trying to avoid dairy mainly.

doesnt true protein manufacture for most of the industry ?

Lol yeah I don't really care either way tho

I'd just buy cricket powder and drink it straight, no stevia, flavoring or anything.

I drink raw liver smoothies every now and then, nothing really compares to that lol

Whey also legit makes me hold onto more fat

I found it somehow spikes my insulin pretty hard

Definitely not ideal for some people
