I am now making ice cream and bars with left over whet protein from muscle pharm. But too much bloatedness.

Any brand with high quality whey?

Holland and Barrett cookie and creme must taste the nicest by far!!

Do you care mostly about cost, taste, ingredient quality?

Optimum Nutrition is pretty well known and respected in the lifting community. At least when I used to lift and visit the body building forums.

I also bought some NOW brand stuff that's unflavored. NO artificial sweeteners or any of that stuff in it.

Kaizen has a good protein to scoop ratio for a good price for 5lbs.

Highest quality regardless of cost. Spending money is not an issue here.

They're all the same. @Clementine @HI SCOTT NEWMAN

Hmmm, I usually looked for value but you get what you pay for.

A lot of people are saying PES Select. Also check out https://www.stack3d.com/protein-wars - but beware this dude sponsors and is sponsored by some of the companies IMO.

Also if you REALLY want to get into the weeds, check out anabolicminds forum or bodybuilding.com

PES is good too

Ya, some of it was usually out of my price range I wanted to spend. But I've heard good things about Isopure and PES for sure. Optimum Nutrition (I mentioned earlier) was always kind of the default for a lot of guys. You could get a 10lb sack of it and it was a good mix of perceived quality vs price.

Did/do you like the Syntha-6 style stuff from BSN Labs? Or the Cytosport brand that makes Muscle Milk? They both get a fair amount of press/ads.

I've tried both, but both mess with my stomach.
Redcon's animal protein is one of the ones that doesn't mess with my stomach, that and Transparent labs
PES is a little too expensive but they're constantly giving out deals and it balances out

This is what I use. Observe the 90 (percent pure protein) label as opposed to the lower percentages they sell with th exact same label, and cheaper.

Chocolate is amazing. Like chocolate milk.

Absolutely. Wasnt sure if anyone would get the reference. Fat kitty reminded me of fat Clemenza chugging up those stairs to shotgun one of the heads of the 5 families. :)

Thought he was having a heart attack going up the stairs. That sequence of goombahs getting whacked was awesome.

There’s not another meal replacement powder close, IMO.
