WCW had lots of good ones. Unfortunately, WWE owns the narrative that WCW sucked in every way except for getting ratings for a few weeks.
This is very true. They may not have had a single ppv that was as good as WM17 but they had several that were close to it (the top five or so on my list) and they consistently put on much better events than WWE ever did.

My sentimental favorite is Halloween Havoc 98 because that was the first one I ever ordered and had all my friends come over an watch it. DDP and Goldberg were my favorite wrestlers at the time (along with Raven who fought Jericho in the first match) and they put on a killer main event. My friends and I thought if anyone was ever gonna be beat Goldberg it'd have to be DDP and were shocked when it ended the way it did. Made Goldberg seem like a truly unstoppable monster who was never going to lose. Then they fucked it all up two months later at Starrcade with the Scott Hall / Kevin Nash stun gun incident. Exactly a year prior to that Hogan fucked it all up with how his match with Sting ended up being played out.

This aint my area of expertise
I'll tell you all you wanna know about Jim Crockett Promotions but WCW and the 90's in general are all one big hazy blur

Haha, I love the honesty. You can always go on Peacock and go back and check them out. That's what I've been doing.

The Starcade where Big Sexy jobbed out that can Goldberg.

Great American Bash 1996
That was my first ppv. Good way to be introduced.

IIRC, Sting had a decent match with Regal, and Luger did the job for The Giant. The highlight was Nash powerbombing Bischoff through the stage, though.

Don't forget Dean Malenko vs. Rey Mysterio and Benoit vs Kevin Sullivan Falls Count Anywhere with some hilarious quotes from Dusty Rhodes on commentary, "THERE'S A LADY IN THE MAN's ROOM!!!"

Another straight fucking classic, Ultimo Dragon vs Jushin Thunder Liger is worth it alone. Also Sting vs Hiroshi Hase and Hell Raisers vs Steiner Brothers.
i still watch it regularly.
Muta vs Chono title vs title.

WrestleWar 1992: War Games Match (Best Match)

Halloween Havoc 1990: Steiners vs the Nastys (Best Match)

The Great American Bash 1990: Sting vs Flair (Best Match)

Mayhem 1999: (Only for Bret vs Sting and Goldberg vs Sid)

SuperBrawl I: Arn vs Beautiful Bobby (Best Match)

Honorable Mention (not a ppv): Arn vs Muta
