Best striker in HW history?

Only 3 striking losses in the UFC.

1. Was wrecking JDS, easily outboxing the Brazilian former champ until Hunto broke his toe so bad it would later need 6 stitches to put back together, messing up his footwork and allowing JDS to close the distance and start to actually land something (he landed nothing on Hunto before the toe-break).

2. Was wrecking Werdum, easily outstriking the Brazilian current champ until the Mexico City altitude started to take effect on the South Auckland legend who'd taken the fight on supremely short notice while Werdum had been training in Mexico City for a couple of decades to prepare.

3. Had the shittiest preparation and weight cut of all time and was gassed even before he climbed the steps to fight Stipe.

bad excuses mixed in with mistruths and exaggerations.

Nah, the only one I'm playing up slightly is the first, since Hunto's gross 6-stitch toe-break happened only about 90 seconds into the fight, and it's maybe not fair to judge JDS on only being schooled by Hunto for 90 seconds.

The rest is 1000% true, if not more.

Its Fedor by a mile. I seriously dont understand how it could be even debatable, he outstruck every opponent he faced in his 10y streak, no-one comes even close.

Werdum should get an honorable mention. His striking has gotten really solid and diverse.

Yes I did. Which coincidentally took place after Crocop lost to Gonzaga and fucking CHEICK KONGO
I just feel like overeem bullies any version of crocop. Much like fedor did.

Reem was tooling him leading up to that, just like he always is in every fight where he ends up KO'd

If we're judging striking skill having a glass jaw shouldn't detract from that

No but striking skill also encompasses defensive skills too. Reem has big holes in his defence as proven by the number of times opponents have successfully cracked his glass jaw.

Probably prime Cro Cop or Fedor. Arlovski was up there at one point in time, if his defense was at the same level as his offense, I would probably say AA is #1.

Leave JDS out of it. In a pure striking match he gets eaten alive. He's a slugger not a boxer. I thought Overeem showed us that already.

Don't mention the Rothwell fight. Slow plodding forward Ben was tailor made for JDS to beat up on.

And yet....
