Who was the best ever at his peak with putting the pace and pressuring guys?

Candidates: Cain, DC, Chimaev, Topuria, Khabib, Merab, peak Jones, Volk, Usman, Colby, Max, Tony, Yan, Stipe, Lesnar, Jiri, DDP.

either cain or khabib would be good choices, but neither fought long enough. merab is getting up there.

Cain for sure, and it was even better with him because the UFC HWs just aren't used to that pace at all

My favorite pressure fighter stylistically was young Nick Diaz. I don't think he was ever the best guy, in the world, in his weight class, but damn if I didn't like his style.

Cain was obviously impressive, but his style or method of fighting just didn't work for me.

DC would probably be my second favorite just because he was fat guy who could get the job done with pressure. Great career, started a little late.

There's another question here.

Which fighter best made use of pace and pressure despite being overall pretty shit?

Fighters that immediately spring to mind are Elkins and Guida.
