Best or worst homeowner's insurance

Anyone have any opinions on the best or worst home owner's insurance company? And auto? I'm most interested in hearing from people that have actually filed claims. I used to have Farmer's but never filed a claim. Now I have American National and filed a claim from the wildfires and they have been horrible. Searching for a new company.

Auto Owners was pretty good when I had a break in. Their rates are the best I've found.
