Best Muay Thai Knees in UFC

I was going to pick this as well, but TS was specifically saying the UFC.

IF.... he remembers it!!! (the poor fucking guy!!!!)
If he forgot, the everlasting highlight reel has reminded him. Plus he says his nose tingles when it's about to rain.

LMAO! I did not hear about that, but Ace was just a great guy (IMHO).
I was so sad when he lost, especially the way it happened BOTH times! I was just sad for him (though I became a Silva fanboy then).

Evan Tanner never gets any love for the knees, he was one of the first I recall using the clinch and knees effectively, and regularly

Takes balls to go in there after taking a beating like that. Always a fan of Ace

I think on the second time, he thought that holding himself upright (ulling his head back) it would help, but Silva switched to knees to the body and left him scrambling (again)... it was like looking at your hero taking a savage beating!!! broke my heart!!

i like Jai Herberts knees against Topuira. That was a sweet fight.

i think mainly because it was really amateurish technique, which he had with basically everything. seemed like a great guy and his death was tragic but his performances do not hold up well.

It was like watching Apollo Creed lose to Drago twice

Possibly Loma Lookboonmee.

She is a native Thai who fought Muay Thai professionally in Thailand, and has won championships there, before coming to the UFC.

Unfortunately, she is very under-sized for a strawweight. She would benefit greatly by the UFC opening up an atomweight division.

right now? loma lookboonmee, germaine de randamie, charles oliveira, rafael dos anjos, matt brown, and plenty of others that are not coming to mind atm
Thank you. Everyone keeps mentioning past fighters

These are pretty good call outs

If he comes back Henry Cejudo has some vicious knees. He fucked Marlon Morales up in thier fight. He throws them so fast. Cejudo knees Volk to victory.

Back in the PRIDE days, plenty of fighters were less well-rounded and many were unable to defend things like knees in the plum. But the sport is always evolving, so we rarely get to see those Wanderlei vs. Rampage endless knees moments anymore.

Jarl

He isn’t fighting anymore, but definitely watch some Josh Barnett fights, especially the Frank Mir and Roy Nelson ones.
Goddamn, Mir vs Barnett was one of the most disappointing cases of expectations vs result in UFC history for me. I was rooting for Barnett, and it was a beautiful knockout, but I was so hyped up to see some real high level big guy grappling only for Barnett to come on and dominate the clinch for a standing KO without so much as a take down attempt on either side.
