I know this could go any which way, but what gym in your opinion has the best talent right now?

In my opinion its AKA just based off the fact that they could potentially have a title at 4 weight classes at any given moment. If Cain ever comes back he would most likely be contender again. Luke can take that strap just as easily as he lost it, and we all know if Khabib gets the title shot, there is a good possibility he can win it as well.

cool thread, im looking forward to the responses... i remember when jackson wink was at the top of the game, jackson was a great strategist and its like they havent evolved with the sport or something.. maybe usada happened lol.

Seems like more and more fighters are having success training at smaller gyms. It's not like it was before with all the talent being centralised to a few gyms.

At one point they had Jones who was champ, Condit interim champ, Cerrone contender, Dodson contender, cub swanson contender all around the same time. Pretty crazy to think that none of them are in the mix now

For wrestler and grappler wich wanna go into the cage and deal with striker in the cage or wrestler/grappler i would say AKA at the moment..... because they have more modern effective solutions to deal with modern MMA than any other classic gracie dojo wich are past their prime imo.

That cain/khabib and DC style is very effective in modern MMA, when u are a wrestler or grappler. From a wrestler and grappler standpoint these are effective styles.

But AKA is not the best for striker.

For striker is AKA not the best but a good option to train wrestling and grappling.

It’s weird how there used to be a handful of big name gyms and it was a huge deal who fought out of where and now we don’t really hear about it. Most just show up in shape and nobody cares how.
