Best MMA Fights of 2016 (So Far)

Why? It was a beatdown for the most part (Beatdown as in Holloway was in control) until the last 10 seconds.

For me it would have to be either Condit/Lawler or Silva/Bisping. Both were close fights in which both of the fighters got rocked in numerous occasions.

My pick is Lawler vs. Condit. It was a fantastic fight and the 5th round was a thing of beauty.

Well, I'm a somewhat close friend of Holloway, so my opinion is definitively biased. But those last ten seconds were a thing of beauty.

Bosse v. O'Connel

Polo Reyes vs Lil' Dong was a great fight too, dude was like a zombie, always coming back for more and even managed to rock Polo a few times. Another honorable mention would be Hendo/Lombard, fuck was that a rollercoaster. First, Hendo rocks Lombard with a right hand and goes for the kill, then Lombard manages to counter and throws Hendo to the ground and spents the rest of the round on top due to blowing his wad trying to get the finish. Second round comes in and he gets nailed with a headkick followed by a brutal elbow.

Lombard vs Magny was an awesome fight too, especially since I'm a big fan of Neil. Was a little worried when he got hurt early and was getting assaulted by Lombard but he managed to pull through and ended up dominating a gassed Hector afterwards.

Ken shamrock vs royce gracie 3. The saga finally closes and leaves ken with his tail between his legs.

Lawler vs Condit hands down. That fight was the best fight of the year by far. Holloway vs Lamas is right behind that.
