Narrated by Ray Liotta I'm in!!!

This is a good watch, Freddie Foreman was the real deal back in the day, gangster, armed robber, hitman. He moved to the US and dealt with the Mob as well though he doesn't really talk about that on this, it's in his first book though. His nicknames were The Undertaker, The High Lord Executioner, or Brown Bread (rhyming slang for dead) which tells you everything about the man. Him and Alfie Gerrard gave no fucks for anyone.

If you're interested in London organised crime although theirs no documentaries on the man, the book Legacy about David Hunt is a good read. It's about what he, his organisation and other East London crooks got upto in the run up to the Olympics. High level corruption between gangsters, the police and the council.

The FBI files has some pretty good episodes on organized crime

Also there are some great podcasts related to OC

Kingpins is decent but a bit gimmicky
Mafia is okay it’s like a podcast of the old mob docs from the history channel
Gangland wire has some great stuff

Interesting read although that I'll argue that Albert Anastasia is the one true High Lord Executioner. One of the founders of Murder Inc, responsible for up to the ordering, planning, and following out of between 400 to 1000 murders as an organization.

I dont disagree there, Albert is on another level(possibly my favourite Mafioso to read about, and Galante) I think it was more of an homage kinda thing. I believe Fred, Alf and Jerry Callaghan may have been known as Murder Inc in some circles as they were known for disposing of bodies in the underworld and making people disappear. Though it would be considered small time to the real Murder Inc.

As New York's mobs are world famous their names are synonymous with certain crimes so I guess it's a way of saying it without ever saying it, if that makes sense.

Inside the American Mob was a good series , recently watched Gotti ; Godfather & Son which I enjoyed. Was strange seeing John Gotti as a dad rather than a mobster.

I'll try and dig out the docs on our big heists as well, Brinks Mat, Tonbridge Wells, Millennium Dome etc.

Not a documentary but a decent interview with an actual mafia affiliated hitman:

There's supposed to be another part to the interview but it's not on Youtube, or anywhere on the internet as far as I can tell.
