During my muay thai fight last week, I got nailed in the groin repeatedly.
I got kneed in the groin once in the first round and then in the second round, I I ended up in the corner and my. opponent started kneeing my crotch I swear like 8 times. I ended up winning, but it was pretty painful and my balls are still sore.
In case I'm in a situation like this again, I want to make sure I have the best protection and am seeking general advice. What kind of cup do you guys use and do you use compression shorts/cup in pouch or do you use a jockstrap?
Also, if anyone has any suggestions on how to continue to fight after being struck below the belt, that would be great too.
