Thinking about it now, I never realized how much more stacked the lighter classes are than the heavies. MW has been weak I guess, but LHW is surprisingly weak right now with a lot of former greats heading down to 185, and HW is awful. Cain > JDS >>>>>> Everyone else.

Interim does count just has an asterisk cause he didn't have to beat GSP. Still during GSP's extended absence he was clearly the best WW in the world and thus the UFC "interim" WW champ. IMO there's lots of great fighters who didn't get a belt.

I am as big a fan of Barao as there is, but...dude...let him beat Cruz and see how he does at FW when he moves up before making judgements about him at LHW. I mean, he may make weight (most of it being in his balls, because a BW fighting at LHW takes a man with stones of solid fucking iron the size of an average BW's head...each), but...come on.

Faber was never UFC champ.

After the amount of time he defended it , I consider Barao a true champ and not simply an interim champ .
Condit I only consider as UFC interim champ and wished he would have defended it .

This. TS didnt make sense at all. I just went with it, agree with you though. Fedor is the best fighter to never fight in the UFC or get the HW belt of UFC
