Best Ever on the Mic

Lots of great answers here.

In no particular order:

Nick Bockwinkel. Dick Murdoch. Ernie Ladd. Dusty Rhodes. Ric Flair. The Rock. Roddy Piper. The Masked Superstar (Bill Eadie).

Terry Funk could really be a psycho sometimes. He was genuine, and could scare the shit outta fanboys with his intensity.

Managers? Begins with Heenan and ends in Cornette.
The Masked Superstar is an interesting one. It is admittedly far before my time, and I've never gone back for a look, but Demolition Ax never set the world on fire so it is interesting to note.

As the Masked Superstar, he was an interview that almost never raised his voice, but he was intense and got the point across. Very effective. A little like Nick Bockwinkel, but without the big words.

I agree that as Demolition Ax he didn't give the great interviews, but they usually had a manager so he didn't really need to. Check him out on YouTube.

The most common answer from bros and neckbeards on social media seems to be The Rock.

I never quite got it. His whole catchphrase shtick is what turned me off wrestling as a 12 year old.

Even having revisited it as an adult, it has aged like milk.

Ricky Starks kinda impressed me on the mic. Coupled with his rock eyebrow and tight tights he cracks me up.

Scott Steiner, Ric Flair, Hollywood Hogan, Scott Hall, Macho Man, Shawn Michaels.
