Mine has got to be the Prodigy followed by Chase and Status, what be yours?

Oh wow, there are just too damn many good to pick one that stands out.

I mean, The Prodigy har been my gods ever since Experience or What Evil Lurks. The Chemical Brothers put on the best live performance I've ever seen. Their music is otherwordly. Moby is a savant. Fatboy Slim and all his other alter egos (like Pizzaman) are just too damn good. Aphex Twin is a genius, pure genius. Basement Jaxx and french electrohouse .. few other styles pep me up as much as they do, just a huge smile all day long. U96 .. man, also just genius. T.I.P., Astral Projection, and so on and so forth .. I love EDM.

I don't know man, too many that are too good to make a decision. Also, I can't even decide on any particular sub-genre to EDM that I prefer the most.

Fat of the Land is a classic so, that.

Sherdog hasn't the traffic it used to, unfortunately.

A few years ago, this would be deep in 100 replies by now.

The Chemical Brothers or Daft Punk. The Prodigy 3rd.

None of those are "bands" so if you want to add a bad ass edm band on there include Future Rock. This shit gives me a boner listen to it loud with a lot of bass:

Prodigy for me.

I was expecting Daft Punk to walk this.

Kraftwerk is the GOAT EDM Band (imo)

I love Blastromen. One of the best EDM bands making music at the moment.

And you can consider one of my other favorites a band since they actually play instruments (drums and saxophone). Big Gigantic:

Ueberdruck for life

I don't know if I'd classify Kraftwerk as EDM, to be honest. The start of EBM perhaps, synth most definitely, but EDM seems like a stretch.

I guess it depends on how strict a definition of EDM you think should be apply.

Kraftwerk's music was like the blue print for electro music. I'm referring to the classic electro from the 80s, but also the more modern electro you still hear being made today, using the TR 808 drum sounds.

Kraftwerk has influenced untold amounts of EDM producers/bands, I really I don't see much of an issue calling it EDM.

If this track was made today it could be classed as EDM. (imo)

And this motherfucker should also be on your list. Griz is the god damn man. This first one is one of my favorite songs in the world and I'm a metal head:

Vote other then.

I loved everything these guys did. I guess a couple of them formed !!!, which i also love.

Pendulum because of Immersion: The Island parts I and II, plus Self vs. Self. (Although In Silico had The Tempest, which at one point was the only song I listened to for months on end.)

If Pendulum had never released Immersion, then it would be Faithless because of Sunday 8 PM: God is a DJ, Why Go, Sunday 8 PM, Killer's Lullaby.

Where's BT? Not a band? Is Armand van Helden a band?
