Best chin in MMA update

Condit? He ate some shots from Hendricks and powered through them. Recovered after getting some rocks in the face from Ellenberger.
 
I think Roy has the toughest chin right now, he takes huge shots from HWs (which he is undersized to begin with) and stays in there like he got hit by a jab or something.
 
It's hard to say with this kind of thing who is the top when you've never seen a fighter's upper limit for damage.

But now that we've seen Hendo's, the question is...


Could anyone in the world have taken those shots and continued?
 
Shogun still has one of the best chins. The onslaught he took from Hendo was astounding.

Roy Nelson too, I've never understood what he packs in his dome, besides manwich.

I don't think anyone could have eaten that kick and continued. That was a point blank gunshot.

You say this, But the only time Bisping was out cold was against Hendo. He was still conscious against both Wand and Vitor when they rocked him.

Anyways Hendo still didn't get KO'd after the head kick and followed up punches. I would say JDS, Shogun, and Hendo. Until the day they get KO'd then I will drop them.

I'd add Penn and Condit too. Penn has never been knocked down which is incredible. Hunt, Roy, and Big Nog have been KO'd before not taking anything away.

Sanchez doesn't even have the best chin at LW, that is BJ Penn. I'd put Sanchez at #3 LW chin right after Gomi and before Melendez. Best chin in MMA right now? Does Patrick Cote still fight? I know he finally got hurt by strikes and stopped but it was due to illegal blows.

Cote has a godly chin. He ducked into an Anderson headkick and flying knee and was fine. He ducked into 2 Voelkler knees and was fine.
 
I think anyone who isn't a heavyweight other than possibly Shogun could have eaten that uppercut or that headkick without going out like a candle.

Let alone both... and a bunch of flush shots in between...
 
Shogun, Hendo, Hunt, Nelson and JDS all have a stake to claim in the best chin department.
 
Carlos Condit has never been TKO'd let alone KO'd in 36 fights and he's eaten some truly epic shots. Bigg Rigg and Juggernaut have KO power? Pleaseeee this is NBK we're talking about

BJ, Nelson, Hunt, Shogun, the Diaz brothers - they've all been finished by strikes.
