TS asked for frozen brands, but your argument has merit.
It is a Cyrano family tradition to order a Chick-fil-a nugget tray with all the sauces to nosh on while we decorate the Christmas tree as a family.

Buy a few live chickens. Be head, De feather and remove Breasts , leg , Thigh. Take a mallet and pound all the meat together till you can shape it easily into nuggets. Tske the raw meat that has been shaped dip in batter and throw in fryer. Remove cool an eat. Best nuggets you ever have

If you can stomach actually killing a chicken.
AppleGate, they make delicious chicken nuggets. My nephews will be coming to visit over the Christmas holiday this year and I'll be loading up on chicken nuggets, which might no longer be their favorite food now that they are older and in college. Maybe chicken nuggets and beer. Will see.

In order of preference. Usually a little of 2 of these plus a bag of tots once a month or so is an easy family pleaser.
And the air fryer makes them nice and crispy.
The top Tyson pic there is the closest I've found to the same breading used by McDonald's.

Kudos to those that followed directions and stuck to FROZEN nuggets.
I've routinely gotten the Perdue nuggets that arent sold frozen. They're getting smaller it seems so I'm up for new suggestions that arent Tyson. Tyson has too much breading.
