Best cardio in the UFC?

Dude isn't as technical as Volk but he throws a ton more and eats a bunch of damage which eats at cardio too.
 
Jon Jones. Didn't even break a sweat in the 15 seconds of his last fight.
 
I'm going to go with Kamaru, Merab, and Colby.

Yo, let me tell you something, the best cardio in the UFC is none other than Derrick Lewis, AKA the Black Beast. I know, I know, you're probably thinking "what the hell are you smoking?" But hear me out, this dude may be built like a brick shithouse, but he's got stamina for days.

Have you seen his fights? He can go all three rounds without even breaking a sweat. And when he does get winded, he still manages to pull off some crazy shit like knocking out Alexander Volkov with 10 seconds left in the fight. That's some next-level shit right there.

I mean, have you ever seen the man gas out? Nope, didn't think so. And don't even get me started on his post-fight interviews, the dude can barely even speak he's so exhausted. That's how you know he left it all in the octagon.

So yeah, in my opinion, Derrick Lewis is the king of cardio in the UFC. Don't at me.
 
Volk is probably number 1, he out-cardio'd Makhachev in a heavy grappling affair and he out cardio'd and volumed Max Holloway.

2. Merab Dvalishvili
3. Kamaru Usman
I don't think Usman has great overall cardio. He has great grappling cardio. He gasses when he's forced to strike like in both Colby fights and even Leon's fight. He slows down a lot. It's easier to maintain your conditioning when you are on top controlling someone for the majority of the round. When Usman is being forced to work and forced to strike he slows down a lot. He doesn't have a lot of volume either. The reason Leon connected that kick is because Usman didn't do anything for like 2 mins and was just standing there trying to run down the clock and gave Leon the opportunity to set-up that head kick.

I also think Merab would be similar to Usman. Force him to strike and his cardio wouldn't look so good. He didn't have anything in his punches and kicks in the later rounds and couldn't finish his takedowns. The power wasn't there anymore but he masks it well by just throwing and attempting takedowns just to stay busy and be active.
