Who in kick boxing had the best hands? Jerome Le Banner? Hunt?

It's probably "The Left Hand That Drills Intestines"

seriously a lot of max guys while not great boxes were good with their hands

I just say jwp because he is a badass

You won't find a kickboxer without good hands to say the least.

Giorgio Petrosyan and Tenshin Nasukawa had superb boxing skills, especially defensively.

Nieky Holzken deserves a mention, usually the best at boxing in muay-thai are Muay Matt or Fimeu. Yodsanklai had really good hands.

People like Marat Grigorian or Ghokan Saki for an mma or street fight context or simply a kickboxing bout with mma gloves or bareknuckles, only offense translate, defense do not as they 90% of the time rely on the // high guard.

Buakaw had a good pull counter for example and impressive headmoving, as well as Lerdsila.

The problem with refering to boxing skills, you need to take into account offensive skills but as well defensive ones.

Remy Bonjasky was not really known for his Boxing.
The guy had pretty good hands, but what made him a phenomenal Kickboxer were Remy’s kicks combined with his athleticism, which allowed him to do crazy but effective shit like flying knees.
They call Bonjasky the flying Dutchman for a reason ;)

Pereira could be included based on his efficiency, despite flaws.

But more so, Cedric Doumbe. In his last Glory run, he dominated the division pretty much only with his hands. Wild looking style but unique ability to generate absurd punching power in any position, and with long combos.

I wonder when Cédric Doumbé will fight again. The last time he competed is almost a year ago, which is a shame

Right now, you can see him on prime video France, he is a contestant in the last season of the french "LOL: Last one Laughing." <lol>

Read a rumoured fight against Habirora for this summer and then a rematch against Baki is planned for the end of the year.

Unless I'm mistaken, Mike Bernardo had good Boxing fundamentals. I know for a fact that Bernardo won a considerable amount of Boxing fights.

Rest in peace, Mike Bernardo.

Cro Cop was an amateur boxer before starting his kickboxing career.

Bonjaskys boxing was terrible. His kicks and knees made up for it though
Ehh, his hands were better than a lot of people acknowledge. He had good fundamentals and threw fluid combinations, once he found his rhythm. He was also a pretty sharp puncher when he bothered to turn his punches over.

His problem was that he didn't like getting hit and thus fought defensively. When he threw punches it was almost always done with the internet to set up his kicks/ knees. And he always threw from a very tight guard. He wasn't about to risk getting clipped in an exchange when he was more than capable of winning fights his way.

Though maybe it wasn't a problem considering that he was a successful champion, and perhaps if he had fought the more traditional Dutch style it would have just bit him in the ass.

Wow somebody remembers Sato and Kohiruimaki ❤️

I don't agree with Saki. Offensively nice hands. But can't take a punch as well as boxers. Has cases of flopping to the ground from punches.

I would suggest Kyshenko and Hoost. Hoost is good at everything.

Mirko isn't a bad puncher, said to have had 50 amy boxing bouts. Our boxing trainer said he saw Mirko got beat up so bad by Stipe Drvis from the range, that he put his gloves down and just walked out.

Peter Aerst is also strong everywhere. Knees aren't really crucial to K1. Peter can kick and punch equally good.

Pereira.

Prime Ray Sefo had a nasty swing KO punch "boomerang hook". One of the most powerful punches in kickboxing. Ironically his nickname is suga foot.

I agree Hunt is a great puncher.

K1 Max - apsolutely Albert Kraus.

Masato is also a great Boxer.

In a way yes but he was so high level his hands still worked. Extreme case of kicker. But he managed to knock down Badr, Zimmerman and Ûbereem with a punch. Not cause his boxing is good, he is just overal so good. It's like he suprises you if he punches cause he is is kick dominated. His style is very specific. Knees, mostly to the head, and spamming roundhouse kicks. Ocassional punching. Doesn't spin or teep. He just spams so many high kicks if 1 out of 10 lands it's already worth it. Was also extremely fit in his prime, light and rangy. My favorite at HW. Just fancy roundhouse kicks beatdown.
