No Way Out 2001: Angle/Rock, MOTY candidate in HHH/Stone Cold 3 stages of hell, Stephanie vs Trish being surprising decent, and great mid-card action involving the hardcore, IC & Tag titles.

No Mercy 2001 is one of the best ppvs top to bottom in WWE history

Forgot about NM 2001.

Same because it was during the horrid invasion angle, I heard Rock/Jericho is a awesome match. I recall RVD being in the main event against Angle/Austin because he was extremely popular in such a short time.

RVD in 2001 got over in record time with the matches he had against Jeff Hardy during the summer to main eventing a PPV with Angle/Austin in less than 6 months. Debut in July, main event by October, then mid-carding for majority of his career bar 06 for a cup of coffee.

On topic, No Way Out 2008 was pretty good had 2 Elimination Chambers & Orton/Cena with one of the best DQ finishes ever. Also, Fully Loaded 99 every other title change hands besides the WWE title which was first blood between Austin/Undertaker.

I always like the Invasion PPV even if the angle as a whole sucked.

This was my answer as well, such great balance and the matches were all good for the most part.

For a Feb PPV to be that great show how high quality the WWE was back then, now the Feb PPV are pure time-filler predictable PPVs. Generally, when the B-ppv began with the In Your House they become predictable for the first couple of year as a world title never change at a IYH PPV from 95-97.
