hey guys!

I’ve been watching a lot of early pride events and it had me thinking... who is the best 205 pound fighter to never win a championship? Wanderlei and Hendo won a title in Pride so I’m not referring to them. They’ve even both been ranked #1 in the world. I’m going with Gegard Mousasi or Arona for best fighter to never winning the top title.

Anthony Johnson, he destroyed all of his opponents and never lose a single round in LHW division (except against DC)

I'd have to go with Gus as well. Other than losing a very close fight to DC and a fight many thought he won against Jones, his only other loss was to Rumble via KO.

He will be LHW champ soon enough.

GTFO with Moose. What top 205 guys did he ever beat?

Rumble could very well be the right answer. Gus is up there as well.

Phil Davis says hi

Elvis- the king of rock and rumble - Johnson

tie between rumble and gus

That was 8 years ago mate. Who gives a shit about mr. Decision?

Mr. Decision has better wins than Gus does.

You obviously just forgot about it, dont have to crap on Phil just because you're salty.

I certainly did forget about it. Just like I forgot Phil's painful two fights with bader.

The guy makes Woodley look exciting

I really like the Gus and Rumble choices. They really have done great in recent MMA history! I’d have to give the edge to Rumble for brutality. That might be above what Mousasi has done.

Havent seen the second one, first one was less than entertaining to be sure.

He is not the most exciting guy to watch but in the dumpster fire that is LHW he is top five.

I think you’re right! He’s been a devastating force

you honestly hit the nail on the head on this one. Guys like Rogerio, Arona, Bader and Gus have looked good but Rumble was a destructive force.

The second one in bellator was worse..

He and bader are both top 5 lhw unfortunately

Yeah well that's even more embarrassing for Gus.

He got finished in the 1st round by "Mr Decision"....

Rumble win over Gus should a NC due to headbutt, and Gus doesn't quit like Rumble, so i'd go with The Mauler.
