Super Delegates.

A super delegate basically is a democratic figure-head who has the voting power of 10,000+ Americans.

Bill Clinton, etc. Anyone "In the party" at the high levels. Donors, current and former politicians, etc.

They're all voting for Hillary.

So, keep cheering peasants. You'll be very disappointed when Hillary is the nominee, and loses to Trump.

you forgot to link the proof part of your argument.

So your proof is that superdelegates exist?

You know they can switch votes, right?

Seems kinda thin, like you've got nothing that confirms they'll push to defy the primary results when it comes down to it.

Anyway, Hillary beats Trump, Sanders gets crushed by anybody the GOP nominates.

From your link:

Delegates won
2,382 needed for nomination · 4,763 available

536 are spoken for (481 for Clinton).

Hardly insurmountable even if this situation weren't fluid, but it is.

But these party leaders are free to change their minds until they cast their votes. So Tad Devine, a top Sanders campaign aide, told the AP he's not worried about Clinton's current lead.

While I agree The Establishment is 110% behind Clinton, nothing is set in stone.
Just like Hillary's lead in Iowa, NH, Nevada, etc weren't set in stone.

God I hope the Dems pick Bernie. It'd be doubly enjoyable for me. Firstly because I get to see Hillary lose, and secondly because I get to see Trump or Cruz in the White House.

How was Sanders polling 9 months ago? You get nonsense numbers when you're this far out from the election.

So then that opinion you made is based off of nothing more than your own biases. Sanders has more favorability than any other candidate. The Republican Party is dead.

Neither of those morons have anywhere near the support base that Sanders has. You live in a dream world!

Is it just me or is democracy more confusing than it's cracked up to be?

Lol, no, my opinion is based off of his platform. Democratic primary voters will support tax increases on the middle class, voters in the general election won't.

Cherry pick meaningless distant projectionpolling numbers all you want, the Republican Party is very much alive in state governments around the country, and they hold majorities in the house and senate. Sanders can be eviscerated with a single attack ad, it won't play in the primary, but hed be eaten alive by Trump.
