Anybody been watching this show? I just started and it reminds me of a more serious version of the Kevin Sorbo Hercules which I loved.

Yep. Finished the first season a few months back. It's not that great but entertaining enough. The second half of the season drags. You wait for it to get better but it just plateaus for the rest of the season. The sets and special effects are pretty good though, especially the trolls.

I've kinda watched some of it while doing other tasks. Beowulf seems like a can from what I've seen. I thought he was supposed to be a badass in the epic poem...but I suppose they are in the process of building him up slowly. I saw the guy that plays Walder Frey in GOT is part of it, he gets around for an old guy.
