punch was thrown off balance w no weight behind it. Dariush got no chin left, it was already vaporized by Arman. Big fan of Dariush, but it's time to hang em up.

Benoit clearly loaded weight on his front leg and transfered it to his planted back leg with the rotation of the hook. It wasn't pretty but it obviously had weight behind it.

Dariush can obviously be chinny too, though. He always has been.

If he missed weight it means he was less dehydrated than he should’ve been lol.

He could’ve had an injury, he could’ve mis-calculated something, his body could’ve just stopped sweating…lotta possibilities.

But it literally means he had more water than he should’ve. So I don’t think that was the main reason he got switched off so easy.

You are correct about getting hit anywhere in the head affecting the brain though.

Tuck your chin while raising your shoulder towards your ear, his knee technique was off, he merely raised his knee up but had no pull the on the head down, it was meant to be a fast knee as part of a overzealous blitz but it leaves you open defensely.

The punch will ricochet off and be less effective had Dariush used proper knee form,Dariush was over extended in the clinch and overzealous and paid for it...

That said .. sometimes these things happen, your trying to get the finish yourself and you get caught...
