Heard in interviews he said he didn't feel right the night of the fight. You're right - maybe his time came and went and we are just seeing that now.

If Dariush doesn't sprint out the gate I think he forces his pace of fight and picks Arman apart with well placed left hands and kicks like he did with Gamrot and he has the scramble ability to defend takedowns without wasting energy.
If Daruish does sprint out the gate he probably lays a bit of a beating before Arman absolutely destroys his chin in a wild round or 2 of a fight.


Dariush has never been very durable or had the best gas tank but he's showed the skills of elite fighters so as long as he's composed I really don't think Arman can force him out of his optimal pace and range. I can't see Arman bringing anything to the table that Gamrot hasn't in a match Dariush was able to dictate everything.

He's been caught multiple times before. I don't think it has anything to do with aging, he just has never had a good chin. His skills are elite but his chin always lets him down every once in a while.
