I remembered seeing Ben take a right overhand bomb flush on the chin from Mark Hunt as he was moving forward, and still kept walking after him like a zombie, dude has a monster chin and i was wondering how the carcrash he was in when he was younger affected it, apparently he suffered a significant head injury, and went into a coma. I can't see how that would help someones chin at all, but maybe it made it stronger, who knows:D

No fucks given.

Mr. Mazzagatti at it again.

Mark hunt is a beast and pushed Ben to the side, but it doesn't seem to matter where on the head you hit him.

This is one of the most crazy examples of eating a punch, 1. coming in. 2. standing on one leg. 3. Mark Hunt. Wish the gif was longer, since Ben just kept walking after him.

He also took a pretty hard overhand from overeem right to the temple to no effect.
Will JDS be able to pull it off? Personally i think Ben is just too durable and his awkward style given enough time can probably manage to catch JDS and put him out, that being said, i wish none of these would lose.:/

He definitely takes it like a champ, let's see if he gives it like one as well. This will be a huge win for him if he pulls it off.

I'd like to see a Ben Rothwell brain gif...Fools not the sharpest tool in the shed.

To scramble one's eggs, he must first have eggs.

Maybe it's just me, but it really seems like a lot of people are underestimating Big Ben. He KO'd the guy who KO'd JDS. He's on a great win streak. Hasn't lost in 3+ years. I wonder why people keep underestimating Ben? Is it because his physique is more Roy Nelson than Overeem?

He's just so awkward and it's hard to say where he is good. Cain has great wrestling, JDS has great boxing, Overeem has great kickboxing, Rothwell has great... nothing really, he just wins. Not disrespecting, it's just that on paper it is hard to figure out why he is able to be as good as he is. Definitely fun to watch.

He's awkward but he has a complete game

at the end of the day fighting isn't about looking pretty throwing spin kicks and stuff, Rothwell hits like a truck and I have a feeling he would get back up if hit by one himself. I wouldn't bet against him beating anyone in the entire UFC atm.

I think it's because he wasn't always a top ranked guy. He has a bunch of losses on his record, which may skew people's opinion of him. Obviously he's a very good fighter now, but a few fights ago he got tapped out by Gonzaga, who was well past his best. I think some people want to see him win a few more before they can forget about that. At least that's how I see it.

On topic, Ben has a fantastic chin. Not far behind Hunt and Nelson. Also shows the insane power Arlovski packs in his hands.

That said, this fight tonight is 50/50. JDS is faster and more techinal in the standup, but Rothwell is on a tear, he's durable and can finish the fight at any given moment. Interesting to see what will happen.
