To the topic, can you imagine if he did what he said and just laid down, let Werdum into his guard, and got passed and submitted within 30 seconds of the opening round? That would be one of the most ridiculous fights in MMA history.

Only politics will stop Ben Rothwell from getting the strap.

As much as the UFC want to put a gag order for Rothwell getting a title shot, the political games they are playing are futile.

Also not getting asked any questions at the Unstoppable Conference just confirms the UFC are trying to silence Rothwell.

When Rothwell claims the HW strap everything else will just be a formality.

I like both fighters but I think Ben is in over his head if he tries to out grapple Werdum. Would be epic tho!

I've always done a decent job predicting fights but I've predicted Rothwell losing almost every single fight he's had in the UFC. At this point, if the man says he's going to submit Werdum, I'll just believe him.
