It is pretty underrated imo, could be the next future flyweight title challenger.

I got Nguyen, he is much better than Smolka when standing, and I think his takedown defense is good enough to keep it standing.

Oh yeah, I completely forgot about Scoggins. But how do you think Smolka smokes Ben? Interesting prediction. I like Smolka, but he isn't the most physically imposing, explosive or really fast, when getting compared to Ben anyway. But he is as tricky as hell when grappling.

This will be an exciting fight to see who can be 4th in line to face MM. MM will get past Reis. Then he'll get past the TUF winner... unless some superstar with a ton of reach, quickness, takedown defense and ridiculous KO power is found. After that he'll probably fight and lose to Cruz and then he will come back down and defend his belt against the winner of this fight who will have won another. Both guys are really promising, I favor Nguyen because I think he can keep it on the feet and stop Smolka with his stellar stand up.

I didn't even know this fight
was happening. I enjoy both of
their fighting styles. I think
technically, Nguyen might be
more sound, but smolka goes
for it & Nguyen has been caught
before. I love prospect fights.
Though I understand that these
types of match ups are more
prevalent in brackets that lack
depth; I feel like they should
make more of these match ups
across all the weight classes.
