Didn’t know about the pig socks, but just googled them. That does not help and really hurts his cause.

Yeah, he lost me with that move. Because it's just...premeditated antagonism. Spontaneous frustration is different imo. Like if people see a cop clearly being out of line (not even the extreme stuff necessarily, but let's say needlessly harassing someone for what seems like racial reasons) and yell "Fucking pig!", that's probably not the best idea but it's understandable. The socks are just...bad form. It shows that you believe that's what all cops are, pigs. Whether true or not, the view of "all cops are pigs" is gonna be attributed to you. And like you said, how does that help your cause? We're still gonna have cops, and you've shown an attitude that you have no interest in good faith communication when you make a statement like that.
 
This thread inspired me to grab a pint of Haagen Dazs when I stopped at the store today. Chocolate peanut butter.

My scheduled run tomorrow was 3.5 miles. It's now at least 4.5 and probably 5 miles. But IDGAF, it's worth it. This shit is amazing.

Well my personal way is to check (most of the time) if a company has a public political opinion and if they voice it.
If they do, no matter left or right I avoid them. They can have what ever opinion in private and as persons.
But its important to me the brand / company / does not have one or voice one.
I am buying your stuff not your political opinion or affiliation .

These woke companies really make it easier to save money so I'll give them that much credit. At some point they gotta understand that going woke loses money a lot of money.
