Ben Askren will break Jake Paul, he will use Pressure and smother him close

Ben Askren's gonna bend him over and

Askren clinches and dirty boxes him to a boring decision. Or takes a nice locker room pre fight bonus and decides to brawl and lose.

Even though Ben is like the lowest level striker for high level mma guys he should be able to handle that dude pretty easily. Ill be pretty disappointed if he doesnt.

If Ben loses, Jake & his bro will get UFC contracts for sure.

Look, right now I know that this forum is revealing in the fact that Conor just lost. I understand that, I understand that he has the most animosity built up of any fighter out side of WM and Abel.

But goddamn it we couldn’t of had a worse guy to fight Jake. Because you can say all you want about Conor and goddamn it’s deserved what you say about him. But he would wipe the floor with Jake, regardless of how stiff he is he’s 10x the striker of Ben or Jake.

Yes, I believe Ben will tire out Jake the Great Paul by blocking punches with his face, Homer Simpson Style.

WAR FUNKY

The question is whether Jake Paul will be Boxcar Fred, Stitchyard Sullivan or Drederik Tatum?

This isn't an mma fight and his boxing is non-existent. Not sure why you'd say that.

Haven't had time to read 7 pages of responses....

but....I don't see anyway Ben Askren wins this fight.
I think he took it for a large paycheck, and...ok...nothing wrong with that in itself.

Because he’s from Westlake and everyone from Westlake is a rich kid and a pussy.

He’s also a pussy because he won’t face an actual boxer.

He also sped off to avoid confrontation with Dillon Danis.

three strikes on the “is this guy a pussy?” Punchcard.

Why would an internet celebrity fight a real boxer? He's fighting other people on his level.

I don’t know why he would fight anyone to begin with but Nate Robinson definitely wasn’t on his level.

They were both non-boxers. The difference is Paul took it seriously and learned some basic fundamentals while Robinson just assumed he could box.

Paul had been training boxing for a pretty considerable amount of time prior to that and was also significantly larger.

You can say all you want but his management let him fight Nate Robinson for a reason.

Because he called him out and it was a money fight.

Plenty of “money fights” have become available after the KO of Nate Robinson. He took Ben Askren.

If you think this kid’s management would ever let him take a fight where he could lose you’re delusional. Nate was the pick because he had nothing for him.

That and he is training full time with top level boxers and trainers because he has the money. You can’t pretend he isn’t a boxer at some point.

John Ruiz is a good example Askren needs to clinch and make it dirty

Pretty much...

Ruiz has wins over guys he should have had no business beating like Holeyfield and Rahman, and even got a draw against Byrd with his ugly clinch-heavy style...

If the ref they assigned is one who will let Askren hold, he would have a chance...

Still, Paul is a big strong guy and wrestled in high school, so he won’t be easily held.

What other money fights? You're saying if you were in his position and Nate Robinson and Ben Askren called you out you'd turn them down?

A high class striker like Damian Maia maybe. But Askren idk

Jake Paul will KO Aksren. And I'll take home some winnings!

A number of big name fighters have called him out. His brother is fighting Floyd Mayweather for fucks sake.

But he will keep fighting guys who are smaller than him/aren’t boxers. And you can have no problem with that—good for you; I’ll hold it against him because I’m not a fan. If he wants to pretend he’s a boxer he should box, you know, actual boxers. That’s my criticism.

I’m well aware he’s making money doing this and it’s logical. You don’t need to explain that to me.
