Ben Askren vs. TJ Waldburger

After Askren's next fight, What if they matched him up with a slick BJJ guy like Waldburger? TJ didn't end his UFC tenure well, but he's dangerous on the ground in a completely different way than Askren is and I personally would like to see the match up. What would be the result?

Askren would take Waldburger down almost for certain. TJ has a good guard and an active guard, I could see him pulling off a sub victory. If not, Askren would win a one-sided decision via Revenant level mauling.

I don't think that's a good fight for TJ. Not against it though but honestly Askren's getting hard to care about. The level of competition he's been fighting is way beneath him.

If I remember correctly didn't TJ nearly die in his last few fights inside the ufc? Ben should be looking to get matchups with bigger named guys like Jake Shields, Michael Page, Paul Daley, Yushin Okami, even Mike Pierce brings more to the table than Waldburger would. Ben deserves a spot in the ufc at this point
