Rumored Ben Askren Out Of Retirement Set To Box Jake Paul

Ben is gonna get slept he stands as much chance as CM Punk if its just boxing

I honestly couldn't think of a worse mma fighter to represent mma in a boxing. CM Punk had better boxing.

I guess it plays into the storyline of youtubers vs the UFC, Jake should easily KO him and get some heat for it making the Conor/Jake fight even bigger.
 
It'll be a sad day for our sport fellas. Out of all the people to put in a boxing fight.

and I was going to say, more than he made in his entire MMA career, but he fought for One Championship for a while and they actually pay their fighters
 
It's definitely on then, Chael and Ben aren't the kind of guys to just say things for attention.

Crazy to think that Conor would be the good guy if it happens.

I for one sure as hell am honna root for him. Hell i'm gonna root for Askren even if i think he will lose for the simple reason that i want Paul to get KTFO so that he stop calling out professional fighters thinking that he's a badass after 2 wins vs major cans. I know it's mostly for the paycheck and to make his emoteen fanbase of millions worship him even more but still. I wish a guy like Canelo , Wilder or the Gipsy King call him out at some point and see what happens lol

Askren confuses me so much. I had more crisp punches after like 2 weeks of training. How can he train for years under one of the greatest kickboxers of all time and look that bad?

I hope Askren makes 7 figures. I sure as shit won't be contributing.

askren wants to take the sport down with him. accepts he ended up just a meme in the end.
jakes been training for years. i remember he popped aj agazarm good and he just took off in his head with it.
his competition has been bad, he turns down fights with bigger guys or guys his size. but in his time hes developed better boxing than askren did in his whole career. he will train ivan drago esque for this fight , it will mean everything, hes young with infinite support and financial backing, meanwhile askren can even walk right and will likely come in flabby looking for a pay check. he also called out bisping. these guys cant even walk right its the equivalent to some young punk calling out your dad to a fight. no offense to bisping and askren i just think of retired fighters as the same.
 
Would not be surprised if Paul KO's him to be honest.
 
You guys know you're basing this all of Jake Paul's 2 fights against Youtubers and an ex NBA player?

We've seen Askren take some fairly brutal shots to the head against Lawler and be fine. Jake Paul is no Robbie Lawler.
