Ben Askren calls out Nate Diaz for last fight on contract

So Ben thinks he's better at MMA because he thinks he can dry hump Diaz to a decision? What a fucking tool.

ben isn't that good at bjj. hes a good grappler but he can be subbed i have seen much more threatening ground fighters with way less credentials than ben . its elite but its finishing ability isn't elite. would not surprise me if nate subbed him. askren can't bully nate and that one of the best ways to beat the diaz bros is to be bigger and strong and bully them around.

It's a out of nowhere fun as hell fight. Askren shoots right away, then the top game vs Nate's guard. Advantage: Ben. But Nate's durable and would be some fun scrambles. Then Ben's fucked on the feet. It's perfect.

If Diaz beats Askren I would die laugh. If Askren beats Diaz I would also laugh. This is high level comedy with dire consequences.

If this fight were to happen, Diaz is never going to outwrestle or stop Bens TDs consistently. So the ground fighting is somewhat unavoidable. He has to make sure hes dangerous with submission attempts and either sub Ben or use them to create scrambles and attempt to box him up when it gets back to standing position.

Its actually kind of an interesting fight.

Ben could take him down for sure but if I recall correctly he was a pretty decent wrestler in high school so he'd probably do better than you think against a guy like Woodley in MMA who has no cardio to wrestle anymore.
 
no way UFC signs him after Jake Paul 1 shotted him. he has nothing to offer the UFC and will only delegitimize whoever he fights.

Depends how Ben shows up though.
I worry heavily that this is Ben just bullshitting for a payday, and showing up like a overweight geriatric like in Jake Paul fight.

What I learned in JP fight is that Ben has no shame.
 
I respect Ben's ability to sell a fight, but I don't like this fight. If Nate's next fight is his last, it should be a highly-promoted, big money fight like Conor 3, or against a hyped up and coming fighter like Khamzat. Ben hasn't earned this fight, and wasn't he cut after his last? Maybe I'm wrong.
