Dallas-area MMA fighter, 25, dead after playing Russian roulette, report says

A 25-year-old MMA fighter died early Saturday after shooting himself during a game of Russian roulette at a Far North Dallas apartment, KTVT-TV (Channel 11) reports. Dallas police confirmed that Ivan “J.P.” Cole was shot about 7:30 a.m. in the 13700 block of Montfort Drive, but did not say whether he shot himself or someone shot him. KTVT reporter J.D. Miles tweeted that Cole died while playing Russian roulette. Cole is survived by his wife. The couple celebrated their two-year wedding anniversary on Friday. “You still give me butterflies,” his wife posted on Facebook a day before Cole’s death. could be other people around reporting it. It's also possible that he had the bullets staggered in the revolver chamber or something which could lead to that conclusion
