Bellator re-signs Georgi Karakhanyan

And people said fighters won't leave wsof for bellator

Since the regime change at Bellator they have been a lot more agreeable to work with. We have already seen Eddie and Riggs released to the UFC without any fuss. UFC fighters suddenly ringside at Bellator and UFC using Bellator footage in their promotion package. Things are changing with Bjorn gone.

Fighters will no longer see Bellator as a dead end career path.

When has UFC used Bellator footage? They used Strikeforce footage for Eddie. I am surprised however Bellator used like a 2-sec clip of Pride video for Manhoef. Though I'm not sure if it was actually recorded by Pride or a journalist.

Georgie has Jenkins and Caldwell to think about before Straus or Curran. He gave his belt up without giving a good go. I'm not excited about this. Have should've fought for his belt like a true champion does then bounce out on wsof. But I do agree he helps give depth to that division.

Damn FW at Bellator is a really exciting division. They are really stacked at FW.

Curran, Pitbull & Straus are all top level, world class fighters. Frodo is possibly on their level but I doubt we'll ever find out at this point. Sandro, Weichel, Nunes and Wilcox (if he stays at FW) are all solid fighters. Georgi is a solid addition to that group. Their best prospects are also at FW: Bubba, Goiti, Neves, Caldwell, Texeira.

Would love if Dantas, Galvao and Warren moved up to FW since Bellator really doesn't have anything at BW.

Def their best div.

Its the best div in mma outside the UFC.

Not the deepest but like you said they have top 3, then a few good mid level guys and then Bubba, Goiti, Caldwell and Neves as prospects.

Eddie never fought in Strikeforce, but he did in ProElite. I forgot UFC owned ProElite library, I guess I assumed it was Bellator footage forgetting Eddie fought on a ShowXC show. It someways it appears Bellator and UFC has improved relations. But in others they also seem more competitive with Spike constant counter programming.

Def think UFC/Bjorn had issues, UFC/Coker/Bellator dont have problems. Its SPike/UFC that is the rivalry.

They still are butthurt the UFC left.

Mostly yeah.. But Rampage makes your statement not fully correct.

Rampage was not worth the money they were paying him. He may not have gotten "cut" but he effectively was. His contract ran out and they didn't want to pay him what he was accustomed to making. Same with Tito.

You sure that was Pride and not Sengoku?

Great fighter but seeing as he was already destroyed by Pitbull, I can't get that hyped about it.

Good addition to Bellator, I would like to see Georgi vs Rad Martinez or Diego Nunes for his return fight.

It was DREAM. They are out of business but none of the big orgs own their footage. Probably don't have to jump through many hoops to use it. Maybe AXS/HDnet can give permission.

and just lost to Glenn. If he beat Glenn and was coming in as WSOF champ it would be a bigger deal.

He's a good addition to the div but he isnt willing a title.

I'm huge fan of Georgi, love watching his fights.
I think he's being overlooked, before he busted his rib he was in complete control of the Glenn fight. I dunno if he will win the belt but will def be a contender, a fight with Goiti would be awesome

Excellent fighter. Very underrated when he has his shit together. Hopefully he has made some positive improvements and adjustments since the pitbull fight.

It was the TBS/Korean broadcast clips

I want these orgs to trade fighters. That would be fucking crazzzzyyyyy.
