bellator picks for Friday?

The only fight I care about is Curran-Pitbull and I can't pick who's going to win. If Curran fights the way he fought against Straus in his most recent fights than I think Pitbull take it easily. However, Curran has been training down at Team Takedown (Johny Hendricks camp) and he seems to be in a great place mentally for this fight. I've seen some clips he's posted on instagram of him training and though you can never tell by second long clips, he looks good.

Pitbull has also had a pretty intensive camp. He trained at Black House in California and he's said that he will mix it up this time around and that the fight will not only be fought on the feet. He said something about how his pride got in the way last time and he only chose to kickbox because of it.

I'm really looking forward to this fight. It is easily the most anticipated fight of the weekend for me. I hope both of them are on their A-game and we get another classic between the two.

I am only interested in the main event as Curran and Freire are two of the best FWs in the world and two of probably only five FWs I have ever considered favourites despite how much I enjoy the division. The overall card should be pretty good but I am more interested in seeing McCrory's return than I am seeing any other guy on the main card fight, outside of the main event.

Curran's boxing game has really not been there recently, like the many jabs he would use to set things up. It might be because of how expertly Straus blends his striking with his grappling and the struggles Curran had with the TDs/striking though. If Curran doesn't show signs of returning to that form, or unless he just manages to successfully implement an wrestling-heavy game-plan, I think Freire will likely knock him out. Whatever happens it has been one of my most anticipated fights of the year.
