News Bellator, PFL Distance Themselves From Signing Yoel Romero

Is their any collusion going on?
Like is UFC in touch with other promotions and giving ultimatums.
Wouldn't be the first to do so.

ONE would scoop him up so quick. They love the muscle-bound type fighters over there

Senior citizens need not fight anymore, especially this one, he just won a 16-27 million dollar payout. time for beach, babes, banging, booze, and barijuana
his style could let him be competitive until he's 50 and a couple were razor thin and 1 I thought he won. . he seems to have better genetics than most.

I agree, but anytning over 40 ... gotta hang em up. I like competition, meaningful competition. Not 'because why not' fights for paychecks.

I swear, Sherdoggers just respond with their "hearts" without thinking sometimes...often...quite often.

One boring fight in his whole career means nothing, and the fight was for the UFC championship against a future legend that had to run away from him to "win".
But Adesanya doesn't get blame for that performance even if he was the rangier striker that had control of the distance and the pace of the match.

The fight against Costa was nuts, that's the kind of fight people want to see.
The fights against Rockhold, Whittaker and Weidman, I don't even know what to say, Romero delivers violence like no other.

And how it is possible to fight for the belt and then being cut because too old is mindblowing.
The age thing is so taken out of proportion.
As a fan the only good fighter under 25 I can name is AJ Mckee, pretty much every young fighter under 25 sucks, this isn't a young man sport like people like to say.

Bellator's pocketbook is still feeling the effect of signing huge UFC star and exciting MMA fighter Liz Carmouche. Let's not get down on coker yet let's wait til the smoke clears on the big Liz Carmouche signing and see how it pans out.

Apparently, Bellator will be signing Rumble.

Understood. You have an emotional connection to some of Romero's fights from a couple of year ago. But, when you return to reality, you will be faced with the facts that he is 1-4 in last 5 fights. He is 43 years old. He won't fight five more times in his career. He blew it in THREE different attempts to win the championship. Even with given a virtually unheard of THIRD chance at the title, ahead of more deserving guys, he just stood there like a lump. Romero is Woodley 2.0. He's just about done. Ask yourself this: "If Romero is so great, why isn't Bellator rushing to snatch him up and put a belt on him?" Think about it before you give your emotional, knee-jerk reaction. Yes, that's right: he's about done. Anyone who follows this game can see that.
