Haha yeah, I wasn't questioning the line, just shows how much of a giant mismatch it is. Magomedov is the only guy to beat Yan (unless one counts Sterling... lol) and is 17-1 with his only loss being to Yan also. So, basically, an elite level talent.

Meanwhile the other dude used to make 125 and is taking it on like 2 weeks notice with a 15-7 record. Crazy.

Tbf I dunno if you've seen it, but he doesn't really have a win over Yan, that was shall we say, questionable judging.

Anyone betting on pointsbet... this fight is listed to start 20 minutes from now. Hoping for a quick finish so I can load up on someone

Hopefully May, will look like kharitonov and avenge his testicles :meow:

Oh 1st Nutter!

See my earlier post!

I don't understand why Bellator picks up such newbies. They could definitely do like the UFC and grab more experienced guys with good records. You can be 2-0 and still not even be sure you want to do MMA for a living

They take the throw a lot of shit at the wall and see what sticks approach to signing prospects. If they let someone like AJ Mckee get to 6-0 on the regionals, then they likely lose out to the UFC for him, but by signing guys straight away they get a chance to get them and to show faith in them which can lead to loyalty from the fighter.

Sometimes they end up with an AJ McKee, sometimes they end up with a Baby Slice.

WTF designed Busik's shorts looks like some highschool shit from Woolworths.

The cut that is...

There's tons of guys at 6-0 out there that the UFC doesn't have or maybe doesn't want. I think it's a bad strategy and you end up with a worse product. Even at 5-0 it can be too early for guys including for the UFC
