Bellator 216 MVP vs Daley

I would have to give it to mvp who landed the better shots overall

R5: Daley (I give Daley the advantage in grappling, which is all we saw this round)

Did you miss a large portion of this round, too? MVP had Daley's back, nearly finished the fight with a RNC, spent far more time on top, and landed WAY more ground-and-pound.

Why are they booing MVP. Dude wrestlefuckin him, don’t get it

Kicking myself for not hitting mvp by dec +325

Was looking at it before the fight but decided not to hit it

Dimes didn’t offer the over. Wanted to bet that

10.5u overall. Main event sucked, MVP hype train continues hopefully so I can fade it like mad vs Lima.

Thought about hitting Page by Decision +375 after rd1, but obviously didn't.

Yeah, I'm really curious to see what the line will be against Lima! Could be some serious value there if, like you say, the hype train continues.

Don't be surprised if MVP comes up "injured" and drops out of the tournament.

1.4U loss on Bellator feels like a victory haha. See you degens tomorrow night.

I dunno, seems clear to me from both figher's last fights MVP is going to easily be wrestle fucked and subbed by Lima and Lima could most likely win it standing too.

5.42u up over the 2 Bellators, bring on tomorrow!

Nice. +2.2u myself. Won both bets, but was a little too conservative not hitting that juicy -155 on over 1.5 for Minakov/Kongo when it was offered.

Don't mind not betting MVP/Daley. The fight went one way that I envisioned it could, but it could have ended up entirely different based on Daley's strategy and how much MVP had been training his jits, two factors that are impossible to tell beforehand.

You might be correct about grappling, but actually, MVP proved tonight his striking is very legitimate. He won the stand-up against Paul Daley of all people, and hurt him badly several times. I don't think Lima will want to stand with him, either.

so was a Daley bet a good play? i think i Got him for a really good price at +200

it was a close fight despite Daley being at +200; he ended up losing, so in the end i still lost money despite getting him at really good odds.

is placing bets like this profitable in the long run?

MVP is a great sniper, but I'm positive Lima isn't going to allow it.

Yaroslav Amasov & Cro Cop came through as chalky favorites and even almost all of my overs cashed. MVP looked good against his toughest test yet in Paul Daley, but I think he'll have trouble with Douglas Lima next. Quite a successful card for another 12.53 units profit.

I don't know why anyone would choose to stand with him with that terrible takedown defense.
