Rickels is by no means a can. He is scrappy and usually entertaining. His Bellator record isn’t bad either. My only critique about rickels’ style is that he doesn’t move to his off the center line when he strikes. That could spell a ton of trouble for him against someone like mvp. That is probably what the matchmakers we’re looking at when they booked the scrap. I expect mvp to ko rickels in the second.People are going to write Rickels off as a can but he's actually a pretty decent fighter.
That said this was the perfect time to make the Daley fight, or at least a bigger step up for MVP, especially considering he barely fights MMA these days. I'm kind of excited I guess, only because we get to see MVP do his thing again but we've seen him do his thing plenty of times. He'll probably not fight for like another year after this too.
Wow, MVP returning after 1.5years in LONDON of all places, and Bellator wasn't able to schedule Daley vs MVP?? What a joke! That's the biggest stage the Daley/MVP fight could have been put on. Bellator matchmaking proving itself to be a joke yet again.
I think many are going to be surprised by Carvalho. He isn’t know, but he is solid all around. Many wrote Schlemenko off and I’m sure many are writing Carvalho off, but Mousasi is in for another scrap. Wouldn’t be shocked if Rafael won.Caveman can be a strong grappler but I have little doubt he’ll try to bang with MVP.
Carvalho vs Mousasi can be good. Still don’t think I quite know how good Carvalho is yet. He’s a pretty precise and powerful striker but low volume. I’m intrigued.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Carvalho won. His grappling leaves a lot to be desired but on the feet, he’s long enough, skilled enough and patient enough to beat anybody. He has a legit shot of beating Mousasi.I think many are going to be surprised by Carvalho. He isn’t know, but he is solid all around. I have Mousasi as the slight favorite, but I’m not writing Rafael off.
Would make sense. If Daley wins, you could create some big hype in cage. That’s a big if though. Daley could get laid onSo... Daley vs Fitch in the same event?
Espically since it is in London. What the fuck are they doing here?I Respect Rickels a ton; he always has fun scraps, but the Daley fight is long overdue. the fact that they are pushing it back even further is fucking brutal imo.
I'd laugh my ass of if something happens to where the MVP/Daley fight is never made in Bellator.
I like the title scrap though.
